1.  What is the purpose of Fitness Golf?
The goal of Fitness Golf is to provide a full aerobic workout that is extremely enjoyable at the same time.  We all know that golf is not very much exercise, and running on a treadmill and biking on a stationary bike can be quite boring.  Fitness Golf  solves both of these problems!

2.  Is Fitness Golf only for advanced golfers?
Absolutely not!  All levels of golfers from beginners to advanced players can enjoy Fitness Golf.   As a matter of fact, our hope is to introduce some fitness fanatics to the game of golf whom have never even played before.  There is also the "Fitness Only" mode which doesn't require a player to golf at all.

3.  How long does a round of Fitness Golf  take?
That depends on which mode a player chooses, the number of holes chosen, and the individual player's workout speed.   A full 18 hole "Golf Only" round of golf could take as little as 40 minutes and a treadmill "Fitness Golf" round could take 90 minutes or more.

4.  What are the space requirements?
We recommend at least a 10.5 foot high ceiling and a 10 foot wide by 20 foot deep floor space to accommodate both the hitting cage and the exercise equipment.   Also, limiting lighting at the open end of the hitting cage will provide the best screen image.

5.  Do I have to buy a special treadmill or exercise bike?
No, because a foot pod attached to a player's shoe records the distance/speed traveled, any manual or electric treadmill can be used that you already own.  For biking, most any stationary bike, spinning bike, or bike used with a bike trainer will work with Fitness Golf.

6.  How long does the system take to set up?
Perfectly clear installation instructions are provided and the system can take as little as several hours to set up.   At least two people should work together to complete the installation.  

7.  Can right-handed and left-handed players both play Fitness Golf?
Yes, the Fitness Golf package can easily be modified to work for left-handed golfers for the same price.  We presently don't have a system that allows both player types to use the same hitting cage, but we can design one if there is enough of a demand for this.

8.  Is there a warranty for the Fitness Golf package?
Many of the components such as the computer and the projector are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.  Other components such as the the video impact screen and the hitting mat are "wear and tear" items and therefore have no warranty.   However, these components are some of the strongest in the industry and made to withstand heavy commercial use.  Of course, all components are guaranteed to work and be undamaged on arrival or they will be replaced at no cost.   

9.  How long does it take to get the system?
Many of the Fitness Golf Package components are shipped directly from the individual manufacturers and, in general, should be shipped within 1-2 weeks of placing your order. 

10.  Will my golf game improve?
We can't guarantee that but hopefully it will.   We can guarantee that you will be a healthier and more fit golfer!

11.  What else can the Fitness Golf package be used for?
Movies and TV shows can be streamed or played with a Blu-ray or DVD player on the massive 9' x 9' video screen for a true theater-like experience.    Likewise, any internet content can also be displayed on the projection screen or any cable or satellite box can be connected to the projector.   Videos, which allow running and biking through beautiful world scenic environments, can be purchased here.   An example of the fitness use of these videos is found here.   Even personal custom made videos can be used as shown here.

12.  Are there any  recurring fees to use the  Fitness Golf system?
From our end there are none other than  replacement  of wear and tear items such  as hitting mats and impact screens.  However, the manufacturer of the advanced  launch monitor that we use with our system,  SkyTrak, does require all users of their hardware to  maintain a yearly  Game Improvement  Plan  and the present annual cost for this is $129.95.    Fitness Golf will pay  this fee for the  first year for all purchasers of the full Fitness Golf Package, but  you will be responsible for renewing this  plan annually in order to continue to use the  SkyTrak and Fitness Golf software, and this annual fee may be subject to change.   You can learn more about  the Game Improvement Plan  here.

13.  What if I want  to purchase a custom golf simulator package?
We can modify the components and the price  of the Fitness Golf  package to match your needs.   For example, if you   are  interested in using another simulator software besides   Fitness Golf then our software and the exercise hardware can be removed from the package.   Similarly, if you wish to use a launch monitor other than  SkyTrak,  we can  also remove that from the package.
